Church on mission is definitely a buzz-phrase that is anywhere you look these days. The fact that we have to label bodies of Christ, missional, has for eternity been a little different to me. please, shouldnt all places of worship be missional in their very nature? Shouldnt a church, at its very nature, desire to introduce their culture and community with the message of Jesus as a missionary would in a different country? Isnt what the places of worship is challenged to do in the last challenge from Jesus in Matthew 28:19? Our own local area requires this type of church. Austin churches is slowly moving to what Christ instructed in Scripture.

Jesus gives the charge in Acts 1:8 saying, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 justifies this idea as, right before Jesus Christ goes up to Heaven, He commissions the disciples on a story that would launch right in their individual community. He begins with their area of Jerusalem, and then expands the call to the far parts of the world.

As Christians, we are not called to isolation, but to be missional followers of Jesus who are aggressively going out and connecting with others right where they are with the gospel. We have observed this throughout history: God motivated Abraham on a mission to go out of his place of origin and his people and go to the town that God would show him (Gen. 12:1), God moved Moses on a mission to rescue an enslaved people and lead them to relationship with God (Exodus 3:8-10), God urges Jesus on a mission to world to restore all things to Himself through the death of Jesus (Colossians 1:20). And now God is sending believers on a journey to engage neighborhoods, cities, peoples, and even nations with the story of Christ(Matt. 28:19 Mark 6:7 Luke 10:1 John 20:21 Acts 1:8). If we resist this urge and continue to display the bodies of Christ like a closed off country club ” requesting that people fix their performance, pay their fees, and come to our church God will continue His mission without us.

Numerous individuals find themselves at a time in their life where the next step is not an obvious one. You might be a student who has just graduated, or maybe you are recently retired from work. Maybe you’ve recently been been made redundant and feel disheartened at being unemployed, but equally discouraged by the variety of work opportunities out there. During times like these, we often look for a different course of action. An organization called DNA (dna-uk.org) are offering such an alternative – to become a Discipleship Christian for 11 months.

DNA are providing an 11 month long experience of total submergence into Christian Discipleship, ranging from October to August. This is seen as a practical experience, needing the participant to live within a Christian surrounding – either within your own church if you already attend one, or a specified church if you are not presently a member of a church. Your normal day will require helping out with the everyday activities of the church, and to be coached by its fellow members in bible studies. The course assures faith in action, so those who sign up can expect a very practical experience of living their faith, and not only the study of it.

Further advantages of the placements include:-

  • it’s practical; what you’ll learn is what you will actually do
  • preparing you for the workplace environment
  • dependence on the person and force of the Holy Spirit in and through you
  • offering an accredited programme through the National Open College Network
  • relational, non-religious Christianity; it’s fun!

There are 3 varieties of course open : Track 1 is the most popular access point to DNA – it is the fullest DNA expereince. The vast bulk of individuals choose this as the best-fit choice for them. Track 2 is more suited to you if taking a full “year-out” is not practically viable. This could be for issues such as work or family commitments. Track 2 consequently proffers some flexibility. Track 3 proffers individuals the opportunity of coming in to be with us for as many specific training sessions or days as they want.

This article was written to show the relationship of the S-U-N to the S-O-N, and to glorify the S-O-N. It may be published if the resource box is left intact.

The S-U-N and the S-O-N have much in common. The S-U-N is the visible light and the S-O-N is the spiritual luminance. They both shine on the world. They illuminate, one for the vision of the eyes, and the other for the understanding of the soul.

The S-U-N brings warmth to the day and eliminates darkness. The S-O-N brings forgiveness and peace to a troubled sin sick world by revealing the truth and exposing evil.

The S-O-N did not come to condemn but to save. He came to become the sins of the whole world, though he did not commit a single one. The S-U-N hid its face when the S-O-N was nailed to the cross and shed his blood.

Let the S-U-N remind you that the S-O-N loves you and is ready to answer your prayers. When you see the clouds and rain, in place of the S-U-N, remember that the S-O-N is demonstrating his love. He waters the crops and other vegetation to provide food and to decorate your view.

The face and clothing of the S-O-N shined like the S-U-N when he was transfigured on the mountain. Moses and Elijah who had not seen the S-U-N for thousands of years spoke with the S-O-N. Death was overcome by the S-O-N Everyone under the S-U-N who obeys the S-O-N will live with God and the S-O-N in heaven.

The S-O-N is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers, or authorities, all things were created by him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together (COL1:15-17).

For to us a child is born, to us a S-O-N is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace(ISA 9:6).

The S-U-N is a reflection of the glory of the S-O-N, who created it. Enjoy the warmth of the S-U-N and the peace that only the S-O-N can give. Do not worship the S-U-N, but give all reverence to the S-O-N, For there is no other name under heaven given to men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

The S-U-N and all physical things are proof that the world is not the result of an accident, but was created by the S-O-N. We observe every day that accidents do not create order, but disorder. If created by an explosion, water would not be pure H2O, air would be polluted, and the earth would not revolve accurately around the S-U-N.

You cannot accidently become a doctor, a lawyer, or any other professional person. Neither can accidents create people. Ask any scientist if anything has ever been cloned by accident. You cannot be saved by accident either. You must study the word of God and put your trust in the S-O-N. As surely as the S-U-N gives light, the S-O-N is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them (HEB 7:25).

Matthew 6:7 “But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

Here Jesus was teaching on the subject of prayer. This was His lead in to the Lords prayer.
Before He taught us what to pray He also told us how not to pray. We are told not to pray repetitively. He said they think they will be heard for their many words, or volume of words. He said do not be like them. However we see that many Christians do this very thing by praying the same thing over and over thinking that they will be heard because of their repetition. Let’s take heed to the words of Christ and realize this is not how we should pray.

The question I want to ask is why would we need to ask if our Father already knows the things we need? He knows all things. He knows the beginning from the end. Why ask?

Many Christians say that God will take care of things, but I truly don’t know where
they get that idea or what Scripture they base that on. The word of God has much to say about asking God in faith.

I also know that many Christians don’t know that God has asked us to ask Him, and that He has given us instruction on how to ask, or what to ask.

The Apostle James said we do not have because we do not ask.

James 4:2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.

Throughout the Word of God we see instances where we are told to ask. We have to ask in order to receive. Have you ever stopped to consider that there are spiritual reasons for this?

There are reasons for everything in God’s Word. He has set things up His way. It is not a case where God can not do something but a case where He established things in a certain way, and He will not violate His Word for anyone. It is up to us to get understanding into His Word and learn to walk in it.

We may not totally understand the why and why nots, but whether we have understanding or not, the reasons are still there and we must follow God’s ways in orders to get God’s results. Lets look to God’s Word for answers.

Genesis 1:26. Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

27. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

In the beginning God gave Adam dominion over the Earth. Adam sinned and because of this relinquished that authority. He no longer had that authority that God gave him. Satan became the God of this world.

Adam had the legal right to do what he did. Because he had the legal right God could not just step in and undo the mess that Adam created. Adams dominion and authority was given to him by God Himself. Adam then turned that legal God given authority over to Satan. Satan had legally become the God of this world.

At this point man was lost. He lost His relationship as a child of God, he lost his fellowship with God and he lost the authority that had been bestowed upon him. All seemed hopeless.

We have to understand that God does not break His Word for anybody. He would not step across that line and undo what had happened. Legally he could not do that. He had to find a legal way.

Through a Covenant with Abraham God got his seed back into the Earth, and established an everlasting Covenant with that seed. Everything we have and are is by and through that seed. I’ve said all of this to make the point that we have to follow the outline of this Covenant to legally receive the promises of God. Part of legally receiving is to ask.

I think it would be beneficial to describe what a covenant is so that the importance of this will be understood. A covenant is a legal binding agreement between two parties. Both parties must agree to the terms of the covenant before they enter into it. Both parties will agree to uphold and fulfill their end of the covenant according to the conditions stipulated within the terms of that covenant. Most covenants will have several parts to it. There is the physical act of cutting the covenant, and the actual outline of the covenant itself, or the legal binding agreement that both parties have already agreed to. Within the framework of this there will be blessings for keeping the covenant and curses that will happen if either party were to break the covenant. The curse would often be death along with the death of all of their immediate family. So you can readily see that entering into such an agreement was not something done lightly. It was a most serious thing to do.

You can see God’s Covenant set forth in the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy.
It would be beneficial to read this to see the true seriousness in our Covenant with God and to know our rights and legal standing. Up until Christ came it was impossible to keep our end of the agreement. Our sinful nature just wouldn’t let us do it. Thank God He did come.

Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

I am so very grateful to our Lord Jesus Christ for taking the full punishment of that curse for us so that we may receive the blessings of Abraham. We have been blessed with the full blessing outlined in Abraham’s Covenant. A very many Christians don’t know the terms of their Covenant, and because of this can never receive these promises of God.

We know that God is honorable and will always uphold His end of the Covenant He established. However in order to be partakers of it we must know what our legal rights are. We also know that Satan is still the God of this word, but the authority he once had has been stripped from him. If we don’t know that we can not walk in the victory that has been purchased for us. We have to know the promises in order to take advantage of them.
I hope you see the importance of what is being said here. We now have the legal right to ask God according to the promises set forth in this awesome Covenant.

Jesus told us Himself, we could ask the Father in His name.

John 14:12-14 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

God wants us to be blessed and happy. He would not have told us to ask if He didn’t want us to get would He? We have to take the steps He’s telling us to take in order to receive the Covenant promises by faith.

Jesus said all authority in Heaven and in Earth has been given to Him. He delegated that authority to us. So, because we are His legal representatives here on the Earth we have been given the legal right to go to God the Father in Jesus name and ask according to
His will. (His will is set forth in the New Covenant.) When we do that God is legally obligated to fulfil His Word. Some people don’t like to hear this, but remember that God is the one who initiated this Covenant and also fulfilled it. Without it we would have no legal standing before God. We would be lost and without hope.
He is the one telling us to ask Him. He loves to see us blessed. Jesus said in Johns Gospel…

John 16:24 “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Jesus said until now because we now have the right to go to the Father in His name and ask according to the words of Jesus, we will then receive.

Now when we ask according to His Covenant we can legally expect to be heard by God and receive what we asked of Him.

1 John 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

You can’t get any plainer than that. When we ask anything according to His will He hears us. Some people say I don’t know if God heard me or not. According to His Word He hears us when we pray according to His will. This means He hears us whether we feel like it or not. Since we know He hears us, we know we have the petitions or requests that we have asked of Him. We can confidently ask. The reason we can do it is because we have been given the legal privilege of doing so. If you are a born again Christian you have this privilege. What an awesome privilege this is. Remind Him of His Covenant. Ask according His Word and be confident that He hears you, and that you have the request you have made of Him. Glory to God. Amen

The first thing you must do is to ask Jesus to become your Lord and Savior? Do you want to be a joint heir with Christ?
If so, I urge you to earnestly pray the following prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, “…and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” (Jn.6:37),

So I know You won’t cast me out, but You take me in, And I thank you for it. You said in your Word, “whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Ro. 10:13).

I am calling on Your name, So I know You have saved me now, You also said, “…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.” (Ro.10:9,10).

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. And I confess Him now as my Lord, Because Your Word says, “… with the heart one believes to righteousness…” and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21),

And I am saved! Thank You, Lord!
I can now truthfully say, I see myself as a born again child of God
Glory to God!!!! Amen.

DANTE: – Dante Alighieri is the tour guide of Hell. In fact you could say he is the creator of Hell if you did not understand he was directed and encouraged as others were being forced to write and create all manner of graven images and religious icons or treatises to support Hell, Satan and the whole dogma of ’sins and demons’. The Church owned all creative work because such creative things came from God and they were the representatives of this God. Nice scam if you can make it work – eh? Here is a little academic insight into how he also was tasked to diminish the perception of prior seers and wise people.

“Inferno XX falls into four narrative segments. Lines 1-30 present the sin of divination in general terms; lines 31-57 introduce famous diviners of antiquity, each of whom figures in and represents a major classical text: Amphiaraus from Statius’ Thebaid, Tiresias from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Arruns from Lucan’s Pharsalia, and Manto from Vergil’s Aeneid; lines 58-99 encompass the digression on Mantova; lines 100-130 contain Dante’s query regarding further diviners, and Vergil’s response, in which he names Eurypylus from the Aeneid and various contemporary practitioners. We note the canto’s symmetry; the general opening and closing sections, each of thirty lines, frame the more particularized interior sequences. The seemingly extraneous section on Mantova is thus entirely surrounded and informed by the commanding issue of prophecy, an issue which is directly related to the canto’s highlighting of poets and poetry, to its evocation of the classical auctores and to the arresting behavior of Vergil. For prophecy is in fact a textual issue; a profeta for Dante is one who foretells, who reads in the magno volume of God’s mind (Par. XV, 50), and deciphers the book of the future. Because prophecy is therefore essentially a matter of correct and incorrect reading, the canto’s emphasis on textuality is insistent: from the initial terzina, which proclaims in deliberately technical language the author’s need to make verse and give form to his twentieth canto, to the equally technical reference to the Aeneid as an alta trageda in line 113; if this is the only locus in the poem in which Dante affixes a numerical tag to a canto, it is also a unique definition of Vergil’s poem as a text belonging to a specific genre. Moreover, the textual awareness of the canto’s opening lines __ Di nova pena mi conven far versi / e dar matera al ventesimo canto / de la prima canzon __ is shared by its final verse: S mi parlava, e andavamo introcque. Here the presence of a word, introcque, whose use by the Florentines is caricatured in the De Vulgari Eloquentia, raises a host of questions about writing and genre, and serves to close the canto on the same textual key with which it began.

Inferno XX deals with the validity and legitimacy of the acts of writing and reading. As Hollander has shown, Dante evokes his classical auctores in order to correct them, misreading their texts in such a way as to damn diviners, like Amphiaraus and Tiresias, whom the ancients considered noble practitioners of the art, tellers of truth. By placing these diviners in the fourth bolgia, Dante establishes their falsity, and his disagreement on this score with his classical predecessors. One of the classical predecessors so invoked is Vergil, the Comedy’s resident poeta, and it is as his new self that Vergil retells the story of Manto, altering the earlier account found in the tenth book of the Aeneid. The Latin poem relates that the prophetess bears a child, Ocnus, who founds the city and gives it his mother’s name: qui muros matrisque dedit tibi, Mantua, nomen (who gave you walls and the name of his mother, O Mantua [Aen. X, 200]). The Comedy, on the other hand, relates that Manto, la vergine cruda (82), settled and died in a spot later chosen by men from the surrounding regions as suitable for a city: Fer la citt sovra quell’ ossa morte (91). Most interesting about Vergil’s speech is his closing injunction to the pilgrim to disregard all other accounts of Mantova’s founding; since the only true story is the one he has just heard, the pilgrim must let no lie defraud the truth, i.e. he must reject all other accounts as false (97-99):” (1)

Anyone who has read their Bible would have to concede in principle at least that it does say that God loves to bless his children. It also does promise that if we are giving individuals we should expect to have many wonderful blessings returned to us as a result. These promises are unquestionable. Christ said that if we gave that men would give to us good measure pressed down and running over, Luke 6:38. The principle here is not in question; it is the use, and or rather the misuse of this principle that causes all the trouble. Anyone trying to prove that the Bible does not promise God’s blessings to the generous giver would come up woefully short. So how does this doctrinal new kid on the block, the abundant life gospel, succeed in the wake of its highly suspect proponents and their methods?

The first thing today’s prosperity gospel lacks is universality. Can this gospel be preached to everyone in any place throughout the world? The answer to this question is a simple, no. Other than in the United States and Western Europe this gospel is impossible to preach and in large part it is mocked. Americans make up about one sixth of the entire worlds population yet they consume almost fifty percent of the world’s food. Even in the burgeoning economies of Europe, China, Japan and South Korea it is common knowledge that America is still number one in wealth and waste. Why has the country that already has the most, become the birth place of a gospel that says we should be getting even more? As two thirds of the world sends its children to bed each night with hunger pains, we are asking God to give us the money to go to an expensive spa to lose weight.
One prosperity gospel preacher was recently called out on the carpet for spending ten thousand dollars a night for a lavish hotel suite in Indonesia. By contrast a missionary magazine tells of the humble pastor in some third world country who is rejoicing over a new bicycle he has been given. Now he can pedal around to make his visitations that cover an area of about twenty five square miles. Prosperity then, is figuratively in the eye of the beholder. That the prosperity gospel cannot be preached in every place is proof that it is not the real gospel. The real gospel is that Jesus Christ came into the world, spoke words that give life, died for the sins of the world, rose from the dead and promised to return to the earth and judge the living and the dead. This can be preached everywhere, at anytime throughout the world and it will produce the same effect that it has now for twenty centuries.

In seminary an old professor once told his class that his church was praying for him that God would keep him humble while they would help by keeping him poor. This is one extreme and another is a new book offered by a TV evangelist entitled…How to be Rich and Have Everything You Ever Wanted. What is wrong is that something is missing. The missing element in the pop Christian doctrine of the abundant life is…balance. It would be hard to balance the book just mentioned against the well known saying of Christ derived from the beatitudes…Blessed are the poor Mt 5:3. Balance nevertheless is what this doctrine is calling for. That God has not always promised a blessing in kind is balance John 14:27. That much of the promised blessings were not a material blessing at all is balance Romans 14:7. Carefully checking the motive of our giving is also balance. Are we giving to get? You may as well keep it! God does care why you’re giving. He may notice the figures scribbled on a check but He is still checking the hearts and trying the motives of believers.

America is a success worshipping society that thinks that being rich, powerful or famous is the sign that one has made the heights. That this notion is so pervasive is reflected in our preoccupation with those who have achieved these lofty goals. In India a Guru is a Gandhi like figure, in America they could be a Wall Street investor. Regardless of what they actually are is a matter of perception which is often given precedence over reality. What is clear is that we are continuously questioning, prodding a probing our success icons for information about the keys to their success. From late night television to the New York Times Bestsellers list the line breaks forth replete with all the memoirs, tips, secrets and how to manuals of the rich and famous. Now Christianity has its own success gurus who seem ready to tell us their secrets as well. Unfortunately that secret usually comes in only one flavor. Send me, my ministry and my programs your money to get God to bless you. Many of these ministries are indeed doing wonderful things for the poor and the promotion of the gospel so we can’t put them all in one big heap. What we can do is be a lot more prayerful about where we send our funds and why. While we are praying let us not forget that someone as close as next door may need our help right now.

Then, what is the real Holy Spirit? Christianity is not just a
religion but it is a way of Life. None of us could remain a
Christian if it wasn’t for someone, always with us, to help us
thru this walk. Our understanding of Prophecy nor Scripture
would be complete without someone teaching us what the truth
was. Beginning with Genesis thru the Book of Revelations the
Holy Ghost {Holy Spirit} has always been with God for He is Gods
Spirit. The Holy Ghost is mentioned 89 times in the new
Testament alone. The Holy Ghost is our comforter and He leads us
into all truths of the Bible. To say that the Holy Ghost has not
yet arrived, would be saying that Jesus did not do what He said
He would do. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy
Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you
all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever
I have said unto you. Without the leadership of the Holy Ghost,
the Bible would never have been written. Lets talk a little
about the Baptisms of John the Baptist. If you’ve noticed in
Scripture, the passages that speak of our salvation, the Holy
Ghost when instructing what is to be written, He never speaks of
Himself, as was promised by Jesus. [Eph_3:5; 1Pe_1:12.] John
16:13-14; Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will
guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of
mine, and shall shew it unto you. 1Co 2:10-13; But God hath
revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth
all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1Co 2:10-13 tells us
that without the guidance of the Spirit, man would only know the
things of man, carnal things. The Bible cannot be understood by
the carnal mind, why, because the carnal mind is at em-empty
with God, it is not subject to the laws of God and neither can
be. Mans wisdom and knowledge is limited to the carnal, the
things of the flesh. We must separate the flesh from the spirit
and start thinking in the spiritual and not the physical. For
what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man
which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but
the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the
things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we
speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which
the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with
spiritual. “Comparing spiritual things with spiritual”, This is
where many find trouble with Bible interpretation, they try to
compare Spiritual with the physical, the temperial with the
immortal. Now to understand who the Holy Ghost is, in John
16:13-14 & 1Co 2:10-13, the Holy Ghost is called “The Spirit Of
Truth, “The Holy Ghost”, “The Comforter”, “The Holy Spirit” &
“The Spirit of God.” This tells us that all these are one with
God, for the Spirit spoken of, is God. He is part of what we
call the “Holy Trinity.” Many dispute this assumption, but its
hard to kick against what the Scriptures are stating. Mat 3:11 I
indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that
cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy
to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with
fire: The Baptisms that John performed were a prelude to the
real Baptisms under the name of the Father, Son and the Holy
Ghost. John Baptized unto Repentance, but under the name of
Jesus we are Baptized under Salvation. Jesus emphasized great
importance on the Holy Ghost. Even John the Baptist mentions His
importance, not for Himself but for the Testimony from Him of
The Christ. Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost: Why? Because these three are one, you cannot
have one without the other. The Holy Ghost gives power unto the
Believer, to perform the things of the Christ. This is where the
end times Church is missing out on all the blessings of God,
because of their belief that the Gifts of the Spirit were for an
earlier age. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the
Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me
both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto
the uttermost part of the earth. A Director of Man; Act 13:4 So
they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto
Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus. Act 15:28 For
it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no
greater burden than these necessary things; The commission of
the Holy Ghost; John 16:7-15; Nevertheless I tell you the truth;
It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away,
the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will
send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the
world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: “Reprove”,
1. To blame; to censure. 2. To charge with a fault to the face;
to chide; to reprehend. Luke 3. 3. To blame for; with of; as, to
reprove one of laziness. 4. To convince of a fault, or to make
it manifest. 5. To refute; to disprove. 6. To excite a sense of
guilt. The heart or conscience reproves us. I’m not to fond of
the word, “conscience” for what people call conscience, is the
spirit within the man. 7. To manifest silent disapprobation or
blame. [The vicious cannot bear the presence of the good, whose
very looks reprove them, and whose life is a severe, though
silent admonition. The Holy Ghost is the one who convicts us of
our sin.] Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of
righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have
yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of
mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father
hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and
shall shew it unto you. Part of the commission of The Spirit is
to also help us thru our many infirmities . Rom 8:14 For as many
as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Sin
is the fault of man, who has chosen to sin. Sin was not forgiven
under the Law but were only put off for another year. Even David
and the prophets of the Old Testament were directed by the Holy
Ghost{Spirit} Mar 12:36 For David himself said by the Holy
Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till
I make thine enemies thy footstool. Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say
unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto
men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be
forgiven unto men. What is the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?
An indignity offered to God by words or writing; reproachful,
contemptuous or irreverent words uttered impiously against
Jehovah. Blasphemy is an injury offered to God, by denying that
which is due and belonging to him, or attributing to him that
which is not agreeable to his nature. In the middle ages,
blasphemy was used to denote simply the blaming or condemning of
a person or thing. Among the Greeks, to blaspheme was to use
words of ill omen, which they were careful to avoid. 1. That
which derogates from the prerogatives of God. Mark 2. To speak
of the Supreme Being in terms of impious irreverence; to revile
or speak reproachfully of God, or the Holy Spirit. 1 Ki 21. Mark
3. 2. To speak evil of; to utter abuse or calumny against; to
speak reproachfully of. 1. To arrogate the prerogatives of God.
This man blasphemeth. Who can forgive sins but God? Math.9. Mark
2. IMPI’ETY, n. [L. impietas;in and pietas, pius.] 1.
Ungodliness; irreverence towards the Supreme being; contempt of
the divine character and authority; neglect of the divine
precepts. These constitute different degrees of impiety. 2. Any
act of wickedness,as blasphemy and scoffing at the Supreme
Being, or at his authority; profaneness. Any expression of
contempt for God or his laws, constitutes an impiety of the
highest degree of criminality. Disobedience to the divine
commands or neglect of duty implies contempt for his
authority, and is therefore impiety. Impiety, when it expresses
the temper or disposition, has no plural; but it is otherwise
when it expresses an act of wickedness, for all such acts are
impieties. Here Jesus tells His Deciples not to think about what
to say but that the Holy Ghost would direct their words. Mar
13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no
thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye
premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour,
that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and
shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be
filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. Luke
2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he
should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. Luke
3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove
upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my
beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. This next verse is the
reason why we can preach and testify of God. John 20:22 And when
he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them,
Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Act 1:2 Until the day in which he was
taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given
commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: Act 1:8 But
ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon
you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in
all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the
earth. Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy
Ghost. Act 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto
them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, John 16:7
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that
I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come
unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 2Co 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the
communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. 1st Cor. is
giving the difference between Charity and the Gifts of the Holy
Spirit to man. Gifts will eventually cease but Charity will
never cease. These are just a few verses that teach us that the
Holy Ghost came to us as was promised by Christ.

The Five I’s are a simple way to remember how to look for new volunteers to build your serving teams. Follow this process and you can, over time, build a strong body of serving teams in your church.

These simple five steps are: 1. Identify 2. Introduce 3. Inquire 4. Inform 5. Involve

Identify–Find somebody

You have to identify who you believe would be suitable for the serving task you are looking to fill. Typically, this will be someone you don’t know, and someone who is alone or whose family tends to stay by themselves. Look for someone who appears nervous or looking around your church. Don’t forget those rare people who ask to be connected, and anyone who is attending a medium-sized group activity.

Introduce–Make contact

If you do not know them personally, you must make contact! It sounds simple but is often overlooked. Most people won’t jump out and volunteer automatically. Smile and say hello. Briefly tell them your name and what your level of involvement is at the church and how long you have been coming to the church. Then flow immediately into the next step.

Inquire–Ask about them

This must be done on contacting new people first. You must ask if you can serve them in any way. If it is their first time or first few times to the church and no one has approached them, the chances are high that they came to church looking for some help–so be ready to help them!

Your next step is to ask if they would like to serve others–ask about their desire! Do they want to serve in some capacity? Are they looking to get involved? Do they know about their gifts and about their passions? Use the answers to these questions to help connect them to others in your church community.

Inform–Tell about opportunities

The first step is to be knowledgeable about church serving opportunities. Make sure you have a good handle on what needs to be done (it sure doesn’t hurt to have such opportunities written down in the weekly church bulletin!). Through questions, find something that they have interest in doing and introduce them to a leader in that area.

Involve–Direct them toward growth

Do not leave the new person until a “set thing” is confirmed. A “set thing” is a follow-up time–a connection with another church servant-leader or team member that agrees to help–where an opportunity to learn about a particular serving ministry is set up.

Use these Five I’s and continue to grow your ministry through volunteer serving teams!

The Bible account ignites our imagination to consider and overcome if we can the “why” of our existence. The Bible story assures this truth in its account will not be ignored of its fact existence. We disguise the physical evidence God stated created the earth. God in this structured frame of mind dwell in a spiritual reality. This spiritual reality is not in the “image” or “likeness” accredited to the formation of our created Biblical existence.

Our viewed account of the Bible origin existence is without a physical proof of fact. Our reality of the Bible account is outside of the fact of the created origin existence. We demand from facts outside of the Bible story a valid proof. We design through our known thoughts of life the Bible account. We push aside the given Bible fact to conduct and regulate our reality of existence. The Bible creation account start before there was the state of our existence. Most miss the feeling of the Bible fact of others outside of our known earth.

The ideal of God and angel relates others outside our known existence. We fail to relate the Bible realities of those others in our life. The Bible story stating God created but we in turn create God into our likeness. We mold God into an image and likeness defined by our views. The flawed view yielded by us is a fable of things thought to be in the Bible story account. The content the Bible tells is outside of this view given reality. There is a difference and a comforting thought of desired closeness in the Bible account then alienation from God. Without the Bible account fact our imaginative thoughts and opinions hold no validity of the story account. The Bible reality outside of our known world existence does not relate the fact of its account. The Bible acts and deeds define this proof of others existence. The life forms of those worlds created in the existence. They instruct the reality of the others worlds. This item of others in worlds is the Bible story.

It’s the closer look into the Bible facts we come to our world known existence. The doubt of ones projected view carries God in the Bible story account in this alien connection. God and angel defined in this view as in a none physical reality. God created the world of angel and adam. God creation of those host yields its fact in the Bible story account. Angel, as adam, also a host formed into the existence. We have a testament about God act. This thought of others in the Bible story account holds our encounter to life. The problem is the thought of God outside the Bible story account. This alien encounter is between the worlds of none physical and matter. Angel told adam, earth host, this Bible story account about God. Angel structured the very fiber of the Bible story account. One outside the view sees the thought of man relating this account of the Bible story. The other view states angel wrote and defined the Bible story theme.

Angel thoughts on “the deep” start this Bible story creation. The proof of ones chosen view outside the Bible story account has “the deep” as waters on the formed earth. The Bible story of angel account challenges this view with its division of the waters. God in angel account of “the heaven” divided the waters. Heaven, outside of the Bible account, is the state above our head. The outside view has cast the Bible story on the waters of the earth. In this view the heaven is beneath the state we now call ocean. The heaven cut the waters above and below the state of the formed sky. This heaven state is in the midst of the waters. This means although divided up and low of the heaven state the waters sealed the sky foundation. Angel conveys in this stated Bible story creation the days of God acts. The creation angel saw God do in their host world.

The Bible story states we are deceived about the account. The Bible account point to Satan as the Deceiver. Satan as the Deceiver has to have its fact in the beginning of the Bible story. To be the truth of the Bible account one has to detail the story fact. The view of the waters on the earth has to show this heaven in the middle. Angel related fact of God division of the light and darkness has to show this balance in our existence. The Bible holds fact of those others life. This story of God is not taken by us as proof of those others worlds. Those others living realities convey our existence in the life. The “deep” as the earth covered with waters has to place the heaven. The seeker at this point has to consider these thoughts stated in the Bible story account.

To some this view outside the Bible story might seem funny. God is remote in this view and unlikely to come in a physical reality in our existence. The ideal God formed this reality a story of one who planted our world. The view does not detail the realities of the creation in the Bible account. The waters in the Bible sequence of events did not detail in this view God act of creation. The waters in this view were h2o and not the light and darkness of the Bible account. Adam dictated his opinion upon the Bible story account. This thought by adam, the earth host, was outside the account in the Bible story. The proof of the Bible fact is there in the nature of our existence. We know the frigid and extreme heat terminates our existence [matter]. It’s within the reality of warmth we hold our presence in the existence. The nature of cold and heat based from the darkness and the light.

The simple realities of our existence are the proof of the Bible story account. There in the state of these common known facts is the evidence of the truth behind our existence. Our perception of our universe has to step one more effort higher and define the light and darkness. It’s the warmth which nourishes the planets, satellites called moons, the stars and the Night. The Bible story states God cut the darkness from the light. The two states were balance in the Bible story account. God division of those waters is the proof.

The Masonic Groups are losing ground currently and they are losing political influence. But why is this? It is because the population of the United States of America is now at 300 million people and no matter how they play politics behind the scenes there are just too many people and the media is just too powerful and they are losing control of their power base.

The use of networking, storytelling and spreading rumors can only go so far when the masses of people have turned over their mind to the constant bombardment of mass media. The Masonic Groups have their buildings in a state of disrepair and in this state of material wealth desires of the general population and with the image of those Masonic decaying buildings, well they simply do not look like anything substantial enough to be taken seriously.

Additionally many of the people in the Masonic groups who have been taken in as members are under whelming in their level of intelligence. I speak without ego and only exact observations. I have been to every single city in the United States of America in the last four years and I have sat in coffee shops and talked to people, Masons and listened to the stories and tales.

I fully understand the good old boy network situations in many towns, but things are changing and Masonic groups are losing ground because they no longer have the image, are not recruiting high IQ intellectuals or using the mass media to help their efforts. I believe the Masonic groups are losing ground in the present period and I do not believe they can survive future periods as they will be passed by.

They can no longer control people thru their rumors or secrets. I have nothing against the Masonic groups and have friends who are masons, as well as understand their place in our society in their work in the past periods. But I do watch trends, I am a futurist and I definitely know what I’m talking about, so, if you are a Mason do not take this as a detraction, but rather a warning of an inevitable future. It is time for the Masonic groups to adapt or decay. What happens next is up to them. Consider this in 2006.
