The best property my husband and myself have ever owned is our latest home, a two storey house. We resolved to slowly move ourselves into household ownership by purchasing a town house, because it hands us a rest from the garden work that is normally required when owning a home. Our home is quite diminutive, but it happens to be exactly a perfect fit for the two of us.
My partner and I have installed our home with items that are remarkable and essential to us, and the house is perfect for how we live our lives now. The smaller the household, the less area there is to have to clean and keep spic and span, and this is useful as we determine what it takes to be household owners.
Finally, there are also one or two things in the property that require renovation – the floor in the living room for example. Also, there’s the odd joist above the ceiling that need renovating.
Nonetheless, the property is fine for my partner and I now, and in the future, it gives both of us the opportunity to execute some renovation work to the house to make it even more perfect. We delight in the idea of being home owners, and we enjoy our household.
