Apple had recently launched an iPad with much fanfare. However, it does not seem to have gone that successfully as there are already complaints in place regarding it. Out of the 300,000 people who bought the Apple iPad on the very first day of its launch, hundreds have gone to Apple’s online support forum to state that the iPad is giving patchy connection. According to the users they are having problems in connecting to the Wi-Fi even when the iPhone is working properly.

The posts on the Apple website suggest that people believe that the problem could be caused either by wrong placement of the antenna in the iPad or due to something having gone wrong with the software used in the iPad.

While Apple acknowledged the existence of a problem, it does not seem to accept that the problem has arisen due to any fault with the iPad. Apple has asked people to reset their Wi-Fi connection or to make changes to their routers, the second one being impossible if you are trying to use a public Wi-Fi network.

Since the use of iPad is dependant on the connectivity to the Wi-Fi, it will be difficult to sell iPads unless the problem is resolved soon. If Apple is unable to fix the Wi-Fi issue, it may be forced to take back all the iPads it has already sold. However, the approach of Apple currently is not clear.
