Singer Leona Lewis believes that the aliens in the film Avatar will one day rule the Earth.

The British singer who recorded the theme tune, I See You, for James Cameron’s hit flick starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver said that she is fascinated by the Avatars in the movie and thinks aliens will one day take over.

“We’ve done so much damage that I worry the world will have to end and start again,” she said. “It will be the next people who occupy the planet who will learn from our mistakes.

“People are too selfish to stop the things that have caused global warming now. But the universe is too big for us to be the only life forms.”

Leona Lewis, 24, recently revealed she’d like a career in the movie industry.

“I love movies but I’m more into scriptwriting and the actual story and behind the scenes,” she said.

“But I wouldn’t say no if it was the right thing.”

To restore the balance Cameron has helpfully created a hi-tech, fossil fuel-fed electronic look at the figure.

He flew in to promote Avatar in London. Time now to hear from Leona Lewis. You last saw Lewis on the X Factor final. She was the one dressed as giant goldfish, stood beneath shafts of light before a 60-ft wide jumbo screen (turned on) singing into a microphone. You might have seen her on your clockwork tellies. Says she:

“People are too selfish to stop the things that have caused global warming now.”

Maybe they’re just living their dream in being an international singing star?

“They care about the things I’m passionate about – nature, the planet, the environment. This song required a powerful performance so I had to find an emotional connection. I found one to them.”
