Seattle business leader and philanthropist Naveen Jain knows no boundaries to his generosity. As CEO and cofounder of Intelius, an information commerce company dedicated to protecting and empowering consumers through the various services it provides online, he is able to apply his philanthropic initiatives to the corporate world.

Naveen Jain, who is no stranger to the effects of poverty on the youth, is an avid supporter of various non-profit organizations committed to providing education, healthcare, and housing to those in the marginalized sector of society. Having grown up in the small Indian town of Uttar Pradesh, he saw the consequences the youth had to pay for living in a needy state from his own household that was middle class through and through. Today, all grown up with three kids of his own, Naveen Jain uses the success of his company as a tool in giving back to the community.

Naveen Jain and his wife, Anu, the vice president of Community Relations at Intelius, take the company along in their philanthropic activities. Organizations that have benefited from the Jains’ generosity are Hopelink, United Way of King County, Treehouse, Overlake Service League, and Children’s Hospital.

Naveen Jain and his company made history in 2008 when, despite the economic recession, the burgeoning leader in the technology industry gave away a record $210,000 to various charities. This landed them a spot on Puget Sound Business Journal’s 15 most generous corporate philanthropists.

“Despite the unusual and unfortunate economic challenges we’re all facing right now, Intelius continues to step forward in a spirit of generosity and compassion to enable others who are not as fortunate,” Linda Benson, Director of Development at Hopelink sang praises for Naveen Jain and his company.

Seattle business leader and philanthropist Naveen Jain truly knows no boundaries to his generosity. He and his company continue to support various charities through their philanthropic activities. Other organizations supported by Naveen Jain include: Boys and Girls Club, America India Foundation, Vedic Cultural Center, Seattle Art Museum, Child Rights & You (CRY), and the University of Washington.
