If you are anything like me, you’d probably like to have a website on the Internet but you just have no idea how to go about it. All this talk of web hosting, bandwidth, disc space, and other jargon can cause one to say, “This is too complicated and technical, I just wanted to have a place to put all of my favorite skateboarding photos, cool information on ramp designs, and the best places to skate!” To get a website on the Web you have to go through a web host. The question is how do you find the web host for you?

If you type ‘web host’ into your search engine like Google you will get thousands of sites. Hit on one of these and like any product on the market you will see all sorts of persuasive propaganda to incite you to use their company; that is if you can decipher any of the technical jargon that only computer-heads can comprehend. Some web hosts offer free business cards with an account; some probably offer free watches…like all consumer industries you the buyer must beware.

I’m a writer so I’ll use the analogy of a writer’s journal. The journal I like must not be too big or small in book size. It also must have a good amount of space allocated to each day, again not a whole page but not just a few lines. Of course I also want it to be cheap but of a good quality that won’t fall apart while I’m using it, and I hope it would last for posterity. I just want the diary, some nice pictures in it are O.K. but unnecessary especially if it adds to the price.

It’s the same with a web host and web site scenario. You want to get the right deal for you, enough space and enough access to the public that you wish to associate with. As a novice who doesn’t understand all the jargon this can pose a problem. Are you an individual, small business, blog, or a big time corporation? What do you need and how do you get it?

As far as I can tell the web hosting business is a lot like the fast food business. The big corporations have strict guidelines, will offer you special deals, and have monthly ‘cheeseburger specials’. But, I’ve always been more interested in the ‘Mom and Pop’ small time diners who have that real caring human approach. You know you are a customer and a person, not just a number on a sales receipt. I believe the hosting companies are the same.

A smaller hosting company will probably treat its users with more honest integrity as well as having more flexibility in dealing with your individual situation. They can often tailor web site packages to accommodate exactly what you are looking for as well as the ability to update them quickly when your needs change.

My advice is to contact a few of the smaller companies. Look for ones with good reputations or just arbitrarily email them and compare results from different places. Which one do you feel most comfortable with? Go for it; ask as many questions as you can, see how the different hosts differ in their answers. Try one; if it doesn’t work out try another, it’s really easy to move around. Don’t be afraid, you’ve got nothing to lose except the fear itself!

Love is such a broad topic. I think it is the most energetic
force in the universe. The opposite of love is fear. This
love is a greater love than we can fully grasp. Pure
love is one without judgment, without conditions, and
without motive. Love encompasses respect and compass-
sion but it is the greater element. To love someone is to
truly accept them as they are. This applies to self-love as
well. Truly accept yourself as you are. Offer love and
acceptance and forgiveness to every part of yourself.
It is necessary to do this first to a great extent before you
give out love to others.

Love is also about change. Love will always offer a better
way of doing something or a way of being in exchange
for one that is not working. Love encourages us to the greatest
arena of our imagination and life. It encourages everyone
equally. It offers acceptance equally. As you open to “Love”
it begins to fill your whole being. Then it begins to fill your
whole sphere of influence; your friends, your family, your
students, your associates, the people that you encounter.
One person or creature offering out pure love begins an
overflow of energy that can affect the whole world, and the
whole universe. It doesn’t sound possible but love is such a
big force that wave after wave of love can affect great
change starting with you.

Love transforms fear, which contain all the elements that
vibrate at low frequencies; fear, terror, anger, hatred,
rage, envy, jealousy, grief, sadness, hostility, disrespect,
disgust, and alienation. Love heals. It takes away the
hurt and transforms any residual that remains. Love purifies
everything that it touches. But once it comes in it never
leaves you nor forsakes you. It continues to purify to the
highest vibration possible. It affects change because it
purifies so deeply, and so completely. It is capable of touching every area of your life and others. Love does not force. Love just keeps loving.
With love great joy is allowed to come in.

If you don’t feel that you have love in your life, start
offering love first to yourself. Offer yourself to love.
Let it have every thought, every hurt, every dark, bad
moment. It will receive everything that you give it without
condemnation and offer great compassion.

Next allow the people that come to offer kindness, and
compassion to touch you. Let them hug you. Hear their
words. Let words of love come into your thoughts without
rejecting them. Change any thinking that has been telling
you that you are unworthy of love or kindness. Begin to
receive the small shows of affection. The hugs, the
smiles, the gentle touches. Children offer unconditional
love. They are usually happy to offer you hugs and
affection. Animals are a good source of affection and love.

Volunteering is a very good way to extend love out.
Practice kindness. Imagine how past kindly loving
guides would love them. How would Jesus love this
person? What would he think about them? What would
he say to them? How would he feel about this person or
about me? How would Gandhi act in this situation? How
would Mother Teresa behave towards them?

If you have not read about the lives of these great kindly
beings, read everything that you can. The New Testament
in the bible Specifically John is a great place to start.
Gandhi The Man is very good book. As is
The Celestine Prophecy series, Conversations With God series.

If you are open to it strangers may surprise you with an
act of kindness and love. Very often spontaneous moments
offer great warmth and love. Do not reject this. Many
times we are afraid of the other and do not offer affection to
someone that is hurting. One way to receive more love
is to reach out to someone who is hurting. A stranger or an
acquaintance could greatly use kindness and love from you.
In that moment there is a great exchange of love. You have
acted as an instrument of love.

Praying about love and asking how to be a more loving
person
can give you great comfort and insight. Examples will be
shown to you. Moments will be open to you in which you
can choose to give love and to receive it. The more times
that you embrace those moments in a loving manner, you
will begin to open to the subtlety of love. Acts of loving come
in the small quiet places to the great big dramatic moments.
Each time if you pray and meditate in your heart and ask how
would “love” react here you will receive insight as to how you
could act to express love.

It is not always easy especially when you are dealing with
a person who is cranky, grouchy, unjust or nasty. You have to
look beyond the criticism, beyond their unpleasantness and see
that more often than not they are afraid. Perhaps that person
has gotten to this moment of crankiness, and being mean or
controlling because they learned that behavior. They don’t
know how to be nice. Or they have been hurt so many times
that they have forgotten how to drop their defenses. They are
stuck. You can help them by accepting them as they are.
Offering love and kindness in spite of how they behave.

Love is a slow, patient energy. It does not win by attacking.
It does not force. It remains consistent whether it is night or day, a
good mood or a bad mood, acceptable behavior or
unacceptable behavior.

When we find people in our society who are hyper creative should we in fact cure this problem because it is different than other folks in our communities or should we nurture it and allow the individual increase this gift or ability? Certainly there have been many a creative genius come along in the human race and there is plenty of example of this in human history. Obviously these hyper creative people should be of value to the whole?

What is the cure for Hyper-Creativity? Well, I think it maybe writing, drawing and putting it all down, so it does not over cloud their thoughts and thus allows them to move on continually to new things and wow, imagine what they might gift to the world if they just keep going? I think the cure for (hyper-creativity) for me was finding a place to put it all down on paper or in this case the Internet, so here are a few of my ideas;

Thanks to an online article site website Team, Leonardo da Vinci leading by example and my own web designer, I think I have found not the cure for hyper-creativity, but rather the way to increase it and control it. But often hyper-creative people are also maintaining a Hypomanic displacement, as some psychologists refer to it and well this is what they call these things;

I jotted this down one day trying to reason with this. I think anyone can do it, become hyper-creative if they wish too and I know you get better with it over time. My goal is to have two, original thoughts that no one has ever thought of before and I do that every day. Some are invention ideas, some philosophy and others are simply new methods of doing things.

If you want to increase your hyper-creativity then just ditch any sense of limits, believe in self and never turn off your mind? I am not sure there is a cure or that anyone having such a talent or gift would want to lose the ability. But it is indeed a very interesting point. Well just thinking out loud on this subject of hyper creativity of course? And also creating a little article and original thought on the subject for article number 7111. Consider this in 2006.

Other genetic symptoms are associated with age related Alzheimer`s, with symptoms such as poor judgement, memory loss, mood swings, confusion, and restlessness. The early symptoms of Alzheimer`s are often unnoticed because they resemble natural signs of aging.

Older people are mostly affected by AD with the onset usually beginning after the age of sixty. A small percentage of younger people may develop early onset Alzheimer`s due to having a family inheritance of it. Nearly half of the poeple aged eighty-five or over will develop some type of symptom associated with AD, making it vital that a person becomes educated on preventative steps.

Since Alzheimer`s is a memory disorder that affects around 70% of dementia patients, natural remedies to AD are few and far between. Scientists have been researching a miracle cure for AD for almost one-hundred years and have had very little progress. This could be due to the quantity of the amyloid precursor protein, giving brain cells a higher risk of contracting AD. Even though there is no cure for AD, doctors and scientists still give their patients as much support as possible.

The use of prescription drugs such as Namenda have almost become a household name for those suffering with AD. Doctors usually start their patients at low drug doses, and gradually increase the dosage based on the patients response to it. Patients may also be drug sensitive in other ways, and should monitor how they react on the first dosage. These patients must ensure that they report any unusual symptoms to the prescribing doctor immediately, to refrain from making the disease worse.

Alzheimer`s can be a scary event to go through, so it is vital that you take certain precautionary steps to avoid dealing with another tough battle in your lifetime. If you happen to develop AD and feel that you are doomed the rest of your life, seek out hope, not more despair. Learn how other people fought the disease and take small steps to overcoming it. When you place brochures from every mortgage company side by side, you can’t help but notice the similarities. Each piece mentions that they have every possible loan program available, proven & experienced professionals, fast & friendly service, a list of documents needed to process the loan, a promise of individualized attention and a commitment to professionally serve the client.

This is fine and dandy for consumers, but what about your brochure for real estate agents? If you’re giving to agents the same brochure you give to clients, does it help you stand out? Probably not – and even if you do have a separate brochure for agents, does it avoid the 3 most common mistakes?

Brochure Mistake #1 – Feature-Driven Messages

This is the colossal mistake with most brochures. Here’s a quick list of features often mentioned in mortgage brochures; loan rates, APR, quality service, mortgage insurance, points, refinance, payments, purchase, full service, originate, retail, interest-only, option-only, ARMS, free quote, to name a few.

Features don’t tell the reader anything. Sometimes it only confuses them more about your service. When an agent reads your brochure, they’re reading it for one reason. They want to know, “What’s in it for them.” If you’ve been in sales for a length of time and have been a good student of it, you know that people are interested in hearing benefits, not features. But wait, there’s a twist.

If you sell widgets, your brochure follows an old school formula. It describes what the widget is (feature) and than tells the customer what the widget will do for them (benefits). Pretty simple, isn’t it?

But you’re in the mortgage business. Or better said, you’re in the service business. Wherein lies the caveat, when you sell a service, it’s invisible. You can’t touch, smell or see it. Even though describing the benefits an agent receives from using your services is helpful, it’s not enough.

If you want your brochure to make a difference, the kind of difference that gets noticed by agents, than describe the problems they have that you can solve for them.

It’s a strange phenomenon, but dreadfully true. Agents are more interested in reading about their problems than reading about the benefits of your services, or features for that matter.

Brochure Mistake #2 – Use of Jargon

Jargon is like, “Swahili,” a confused, unintelligible language. It’s words that you understand, but leaves an agent clueless. Jargon comes across as obscure and pretentious. Instead, keep things in simpleton terms. Your brochure should focus on expression, not impression. Using buzzwords, stylish words or phrases can come off as pompous.

Jargon slows down or stops the reading process. Avoid it by writing your brochure in a casual voice, as if you’re having a conversation with the reader. In English class you were taught to write very formal, remember, your brochure isn’t a term paper, it’s an opportunity to persuade and shape one’s perception.

Make use of pictures to communicate, they’re only worth a thousand words. Agents understand with their eyes. Graphs, charts, photos, and pull quotes are examples of conveying or supporting key points.

Everyone’s brochure mentions good customer service. As an alternative, use a flow chart to demonstrate your service, and than support it with satisfied client testimonials.

Brochure Mistake #3 – Me-tooism Disease

Don’t take offense – most of us have this disease. You see what might be working for someone, so you copy it for yourself. It’s easy to grab the leading competitor’s brochure and copy some or all of it. Years ago for instance, rate sheets were a hot marketable brochure. You could distribute a few hundred and get a respectable response. Well, when you have hundreds of loan officers copying it, guess what happens? It wears out, but we keep using it.

Me-tooism isn’t worthwhile. Look at how much mail you’re still getting from other mortgage companies trying to get you to refinance. And they use the same formatted letter as everyone else. The letter specifically states, in bold print, how much you could be saving, and includes an advertised low rate. Sometimes it’s printed in the form of a fictitious check ready to be cashed.

Don’t be afraid to be different. It’s easy to use what others have and challenging to come up with originality. But it’s originality that can earn the biggest reward.
